The petitioner challenging the impugned order passed by the third respondent, dated 22.04.2024 with the consequential relief. 2.Heard Mr.H.Lakshmi Shankar, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.M.Linga Durai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents. 3.The grievance of the petitioner is that the impugned order rejecting the petitioner's application for patta has been passed by the third respondent on 22.04.2024 without affording any opportunity to the petitioner or conducting any enquiry.

4.In fact, I find from the impugned order that the order is an unreasoned one, without any enquiry being conducted or notice being issued to the interested parties or opportunity being given to the petitioner.

5.In the light of the above, the impugned order is liable to be set aside and accordingly, set aside. The matter is remitted to the second respondent to consider the Writ Petitioner's application in 2024/0103/13/301625 and after giving opportunity to the petitioner and any other interested parties, pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Index :Yes / No 29.04.2025 NCC :Yes / No cmr 3/5
