Heard both sides.

That the petitioner claims to belong to Hindu-Kattunayakan community(ST). However, the petitioner's request for issuance of community certificate for his sons was rejected by the 4th respondent on 25.05.2022. Challenging the same, the petitioner filed appeal before the 2nd respondent. The grievance of the petitioner is that till date, the appeal has not been disposed of.

We direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal on merits and in accordance with law. The 2nd respondent shall afford an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner. The final order on merits shall be passed within a period of three months from Page No.2 of 4

the date of receipt of a copy of this order. We make it clear we have not gone into the merits of the matter.
