PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the Petitioner's application, dated 13.3.2025 and issue patta in the name of the Petitioner's society for the property situated in S.No.758/1B1, Sirumlai Village, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

The Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider the Petitioner's application, dated 13.3.2025 and issue patta in the name of the Petitioner's society for the property situated in S.No.758/1B1, Sirumlai Village, Dindigul East Taluk, 2.Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the petitioner, it had purchased the above mentioned property under registered sale deed, dated 18.08.1994 2/6

from one Poornalingam and others. Patta for the said property stand in the name of Poornalingam and his predecessor Somasundaram Pillai. Since the patta was not transferred in the name of Petitioner till date, the Petitioner society sent a representation, dated 13.3.2025 to the third respondent seeking issuance of patta in its name. The same has not been considered till date. Hence, the Petitioner has come before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra. 4.Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the representation submitted by the Petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the Petitioner, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 13.3.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
