Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the Members of the petitioner's Association, the revised Dearness Allowance on monthly pension, with effect from 01.01.2016 as revised from time to time and once in 6 months and also to revise their basis pension, with effect from 01.09.2016 with multiplier of 2.44 together with the revised Dearness Allowance, with effect from 01.09.2016, as revised from time to time, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed for Writ of Mandamus by the petitioner's Association to revise the Dearness allowance, with effect from 01.01.2016 and as revised from time to time and has also submitted a representation, dated 10.12.2018.

2. This Court without going into the merits of the case, is directing the 3rd respondent to consider the case of the petitioner's Association and pass an order, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. If need be, the parties may enter settlement under 12(3) of Industrial Disputes Act.

3. With these observations and directions, this Writ Petition is allowed. No Costs.
