The petitioner seeks for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to issue patta in respect of lands in Survey No.65/11A, Kallikudi Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai based on the petitioner's applications dated 03.04.2025 and 18.04.2025. 2.I have heard Mr.RM.Arun Swaminathan, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.C.Satheesh, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents. 3.It is the specific case of the petitioner that the petitioner has become the absolute owner of the subject lands by way of gift settlement deed dated 06.10.2008 proceeded by sale deed dated 03.07.2003. The petitioner has applied to transfer the patta in his favour. However, according to learned Counsel for the petitioner, the patta transfer application is not going through in the online website. He would further submit that the second respondent has already recommended and passed orders regarding issuance of patta to the petitioner by proceedings dated 03.04.2023. However, the third respondent has not passed any 2/5

consequential orders. It is also brought to my notice by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that in the order of the second respondent, there is a clerical mistake mentioning the survey numbe as S.No.66/11A instead of 65/11A.

4.In the light of the above, the second respondent is directed to carry out necessary amendments in the order dated, 03.04.2023 and thereafter, the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's applications dated 03.04.2025 and 18.04.2025 and also keeping in mind the orders passed by the second respondent on 03.04.2023 directing patta to be mutated in the name of the petitioner and based on the sale deed, dated 03.07.2003 in Doc.No.4694/2003, pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
