Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to grant permission and police Protection to conduct the programme namely Musical Programme in Arulmighu Sriman Narayana Swamy Temple "Kodai Vizha" Pooja festival on 09.06.2017 in the petitioner's Village (Salai Pudur Village), Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 25.05.2017. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Balamurugan For Respondents : Mr.K.Guru, Additional Government Pleader.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting Musical programme in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus. 2.Mr.K.Guru, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this Writ Petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 25.05.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
