ORDER
The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to issue order of suitable appointment on compassionate ground for death of her father namely, Periyasamy died on 02.07.1999 pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 22.01.2024.
2. Heard Mr.V.Illanchezian, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.R.Kishore Ram, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.
3. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2/6
4. The petitioner's father, who was discharging his function as Sanitary Worker died on 02.07.1999 while in harness. The petitioner who is the daughter of deceased had filed an application under compassionate appointment scheme seeking appointment under the scheme. But so far, no orders have been passed on the application of the petitioner and hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, application of this nature has to be considered at the earliest and orders should have been issued.
6. Since the petitioner was said to be a dependant on the deceased, it is needless to say that subsequent to the death of the petitioner's father, she will be perplexed.

In view of the above stated reason and also considering the situation of the petitioner, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 22.01.2024 and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
8. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
