O R D E R

This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent / The District Collector, Ramanathapuram District, Ramanathapuram to dispose of the disciplinary action initiated against the petitioner by charge memo, dated 26.12.2016 on merits and in accordance with law within a specific time given by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer and the facts relating to a charge memo and the slag in subsequent proceedings were not disputed by the respondent, without expressing any opinion on merits of the petitioner's case, this Court is inclined to pass the following order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The respondent is directed to dispose of the disciplinary proceedings initiated by him by the charge memo, dated 26.12.2016, as against the petitioner and by passing final orders on merits and in accordance with law, after appointing an enquiry officer and getting the report, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
