The order of rejection of application submitted by the writ petitioner for providing appointment on compassionate ground is that the application itself was submitted after a lapse of 14 years from the date of death of the deceased employee. Therefore, the scheme of compassionate appointment cannot be extended beyond its scope and with reference to the terms and conditions stipulated. However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks withdrawal of the Writ Petition.
