O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner's right, title and interest have been upheld by this Court in S.A.No.508 of 2002, by judgment and decree, dated 13.12.2021. He would further invite my attention to various proceedings before the revenue authorities which were ultimately set aside by the 2nd respondent and pursuant to finality attained in the civil proceedings, the petitioner has thereby become entitled to mutation of patta in his name. The petitioner merely seeks issuance of writ of mandamus in the nature of direction to implement the order of the 2nd respondent at the hands of the 3rd respondent.

3. Considering the fact that the claim to title by Veeriah and others was rejected upto this Court in second appeal proceedings and the 2nd respondent is also ordered mutation of patta in the name of the petitioner and other legal heirs 2/4

of Narayanan., this writ petition is allowed, directing the 3rd respondent to effect necessary mutation in the revenue records reflecting the names of the legal heirs of the said Narayanan in terms of the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in Pa.Mu.B1/25702/95. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
