ORDER

Aggrieved against the non-payment of the petitioner's gratuity, the present writ petition has been filed. 2.Today, when the matter was called, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the second respondent submitted that out of the total gratuity amount of Rs.9,24,785/-, a sum of Rs.7,93,870/- has been paid on 31.12.2019 and that owing to the financial constraint, an opportunity may be given to pay the balance amount of Rs.1,30,915/- on or before 25.03.2020. The learned Additional Government Pleader has also produced a copy of the written instructions given to them, in this regard.

3.Taking note of the financial situation, this Court is also inclined to permit the second respondent to pay the balance of the gratuity amount as requested.

4.In the light of the above observations, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to pay a sum of Rs.1,30,915/- to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.9766 of 2019 the petitioner herein on or before 25.03.2020. This Writ Petition stands ordered accordingly.
