ORDER
The petitioner seeks an individual patta in his name by correcting the wrong entry in the town survey land records relating to Old Survey No.130/17-A New Survey No.128/17-A. 2.The petitioner traces title to one Pitchaiammal, who was the vendor of the petitioner's father. After purchasing the 1/3
property from one Nagalakshmi on 25.11.1998, the petitioner states that he is in possession and enjoyment of the property without any let or hindrance from anyone.
3. The petitioner refers to the "A" Register extract relating to the property and points out that such "A" Register extract also reflects the name of the aforesaid Pitchaiammal. In the circumstances, he alleges that the town survey land records now reflect the name of one Mr.Ramaiah. In these circumstances, he submitted an online application dated 16.03.2021 to the respondents herein but no action has been taken thereon.
4. Mr.R.Baskaran, learned counsel for the State, accepts notice on behalf of all the three respondents and submits that the representation would be considered and disposed of on merits.
5. Accordingly, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondents herein are directed to consider the petitioner's application, dated 16.03.2021, and dispose of the same by a reasoned order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, Mr.Ramaiah and any others who may be affected by such decision. Such reasoned order shall be passed within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. W.P.(MD).No.13554 of 2021 is disposed of on these terms without any order as to costs.
