Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to grant permission and protection to conduct Aadi Festival at Sri Padrakaliamman Temple in Perunchani Village, Kulasekaram Taluk, Kanyakumari District dated 24.07.2017 and 25.07.2017 based on the petitioner's application dated 24.03.2017 and 02.05.2017.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting Aadi festival in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus. 2.Mr.K.Guru, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ notice for the respondent.

3.It is seen from the records that on 24.03.2017 and 02.05.2017 representations have been given, but the same have not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this Writ Petition is allowed in part without costs and the respondent is directed to look into the representations dated 24.03.2017 and 02.05.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
