Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 herein to issue the posting order as per the representation dated 03.04.2026 and consequently in failure of / issuing such order, to return the original documents which are retained by the 3rd 1/6
respondent herein within the time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The petitioner is before this Court seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to direct the third respondent to return the (1)original 12th Standard mark sheet, (2)Original UG Degree mark sheets, (3)original UG degree certificate, (4)Original PG provisional certificate, (5)Original PG mark sheets, (6)Original PG Degree Certificate, (7)Original 10th Standard certificate and all other original documents deposited by the petitioner at the time of admission to the PG courses. At the time of securing admission, the petitioners had executed bonds respectively agreeing to serve the Government of Tamilnadu for a period of not less than two years. The petitioners further states that though they are completed PG Course in November 2025, the respondents 2/6
have not issued posting orders and therefore, they are entitled for return of all the original documents deposited by them.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in an identical matter in W.P(MD)No.10125 of 2026 dated 12.03.2026, this Court has directed the respondents herein to issue posting orders to the petitioners and pay them appropriate stipend within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order, failing which, the said respondents are directed to release the original certificates and documents submitted by the petitioners during the time of their admission. Therefore, this petition also disposed of in terms of the aforesaid orders.
4. Accordingly, the second respondent is hereby directed to issue posting orders to the petitioner and pay appropriate stipend within a period of six 3/6
weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, the respondents are directed to release the original certificates and documents submitted by the petitioner during the time of his admission within a period of one week from thereafter.
5. The petitioner is the permanent resident of Thoothukudi and therefore the second respondent is hereby directed to issue posting order at nearby places of Thoothukudi subject to availability of posts.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
