W.P.(MD).No.12832 of 2022 before the Inspector of jurisdiction police was rejected as no prior permission was obtained by the petitioner from the District Collector. After the communication, dated 22.06.20122, rejecting permission by the local police, the above writ petition is filed.

3. Though the petitioner is prepared to give an undertaking, this Court is unable to find any reason to direct the District Collector to grant permission, in view of the Government Order.

4. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the Manjuviratu programme though stated to be one in connection with the temple festival, the temple festival was celebrated long back and the petitioner has now arranged for Manjuviratu programme which cannot be taken as one in connection with the temple festival. This Court finds no merit or bona fide and there cannot be a direction by permitting the petitioner to organise Manjuviratu programme beyond May 2022. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed.
