********** Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.According to the petitioner, the community hall under the Adi Dravidar Welfare scheme should be constructed in Chinna Colony Village, Kayathar Taluk, Thoothukudi District, instead of CR Colony Village, Kayathar Taluk, Thoothukudi Village. According to him, persons 2/6

belonging to Scheduled Caste community are more in number in Chinna Colony Village. However, this decision has to be taken by the third respondent. The petitioner has already given a representation to the third respondent.

3.Based on the proposal given by the third respondent, the first respondent had already issued tender notification and the contract had been awarded in favour of the fifth respondent. The petitioner makes it clear that he is not against the fifth respondent. All that he wants is only a change of place and nothing else. The learned counsel would further state that the construction works are yet to commence. 4.We, therefore, direct the third respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 02.05.2023 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The fifth respondent shall commence the construction activity based on the decision to be taken by the third respondent. 3/6
