: Respondents 2 and 3/Respondents 1 and 3 Prayer :- This Petition filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code to EXTEND THE PERIOD for concluding the investigation and filing the Final Report in Crime No.598 of 2015 granted in the order of this Hon'ble Court in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.16240 of 2015 on 22.11.2019 by further period of 6 months.

Prayer in CRL OP(MD).No.16240 of 2015 Petition filed under section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure to order transfer of investigation pending on the file of the second respondent in Crime No.598 of 2015 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Madurai City, to third respondent herein for fair and speedy investigation within a reasonable time. ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and the earlier order of this Court dated 22.11.2019 and upon hearing the arguments of Thiru.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, Government Advocate for the Petitioner and for the second and third respondents, this Court made the following order:

2. This Court by an order dated 22.11.2019 directed the Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Madurai to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, however due to Covid-19 pandemic the respondent police is unable to complete the investigation and file the final report. Hence seeks time.

3. Taking into consideration all the facts further three months time is extended from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to complete the investigation and file final report before the concerned Court.
