Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to apply Normalization of Marks obtained by the Petitioner in the curriculum syllabus of General Certificate of Education(GCE A level) conducted by Cambridge GCE A Level Combined Science as done to the students studied in the CBSC/ICSC and other Boards by equally treating the Petitioner for the selection of students for B.E/B.Tech Courses offered by the respondents 1 to 3.

The petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to apply Normalization of Marks obtained by the Petitioner in the curriculum syllabus of General Certificate of Education(GCE A level) conducted by Cambridge GCE A Level Combined Science as done to the students studied in the CBSC/ICSC and other Boards by equally treating the Petitioner for the selection of students for B.E/B.Tech Courses offered by the respondents 1 to 3. 2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4.
3.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal, at the admission stage itself. 4.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that on production of Equivalent Certificate, the respondents 1 to 3 will consider the same regarding Normalization of Marks.
5.Mr.K.R.Laxman, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the fourth respondent is ready to issue Equivalent Certificate and it has to be considered by the respondents 1 to 3. 6.In view of the above submissions made on either side, no further adjudication is necessary in this Writ Petition and accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs.
