Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to grant permission and to provide police protection to conduct the Aadalum Paadalum dance programme on 22.06.2017 in pursuant to the Aani Festival of Arulmigu Sree Dharmar Thirukoil situated at Melaponnanviduthi Village, Karambakudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.06.2017. For Petitioner : Mr.D.Rameshkumar For Respondent : Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, Additional Government Pleader.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondent to give necessary permission for conducting Adalpadal programme in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus. 2.Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondent. 3.It is seen from the records that on 05.06.2017 a representation has been given, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

representation dated 05.06.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
