ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant permission and to give necessary protection to perform the Cultural Programmes and Children and Women Games on the eve of Arulmighu Sri Sangiliboothathar Temple, Sambakulam Village, Thiruvenkadam Taluk, Tenkasi District, which is to be held on 06.05.2025 from 07.00 p.m to 09.00 p.m based on his representation dated 23.04.2025.

According to the petitioner, all the villagers have decided to conduct Cultural Programmes and Children and Women Games on the eve of Arulmighu Sri Sangiliboothathar Temple, Sambakulam Village, Thiruvenkadam Taluk, Tenkasi District, on 06.05.2025 from 07.00 p.m to 09.00 p.m. In this regard, they have sent representation to the respondents on 23.04.2025 but the same was not considered. Hence, this petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that they have received the representation of the petitioner and they will conduct enquiry and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

4.This Court heard learned counsels appearing on both sides and perused the materials available on record. 5.Considering the nature of relief sought for by the petitioner and the representation of the petitioner is under enquiry before the 2nd respondent, this Court hereby directs the 2nd respondent to grant permission to conduct Cultural Programmes and Children and Women Games on the eve of Arulmighu Sri Sangiliboothathar Temple, Sambakulam Village, Thiruvenkadam Taluk, Tenkasi District, on 06.05.2025 from 07.00 p.m., to 09.00 p.m., by imposing appropriate condition, in accordance with law.

6. With the above said observations and directions, this writ petition stands disposed of.
