ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to issue a No Objection Certificate to the petitioner to run a SPA in the name and style of "RICHE AYUR SPA" at No.21/7, RGB Resort, Senkottai Road, Near Five Falls Toll Gate, Tenkasi District-609 801, based on the petitioner's representation dated 25.04.2023.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is qualified and trained therapist in applying Ayurvedic Oils. He would further submit that as per the Gazette notification 252, dated 16.07.2018 as amended the schedule VI of the Chennai City Corporation Act, he applied for license before the first respondent and the same is pending. Hence, this petition.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that if the petitioner has not obtained any No Objection Certificate, the petitioner can be directed to approach the second respondent and the second respondent will consider the grant of No Objection Certificate to the petitioner.

4.Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 25.04.2023 and pass orders in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
