ORDER

The petitioner seeks the expeditious disposal of an appeal filed by the sixth respondent herein before the second respondent herein.

2. The petitioner states that pattas were issued to the petitioner in respect of certain properties at Mathagiri Village, Kadavoor Taluk, Karur District. Challenging the grant of patta to the petitioner, the sixth respondent filed an appeal for cancellation thereof before the second respondent. Such appeal has not been disposed of till date although the same was filed on 13.06.2019.

3. Mr.P.Subbaraj, learned counsel for the State, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5. He submits that a direction may be issued for the expeditious disposal of the appeal.

4. In view of the nature of the order proposed to be issued, notice to the sixth respondent is dispensed with. W.P.(MD).No.13618 of 2021 is disposed of by directing the second respondent herein to dispose of the appeal in F.No.2089 of 2019 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Such appeal shall be disposed of by a reasoned order after providing a reasonable opportunity to all the parties. There will be no order as to costs.
