ORDER

This writ petition is filed to direct the second respondent to issue patta to the petitioner, on the basis of his online application No.2020/0103/26/094773 dated 27.08.2020. 2.By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for hearing and disposal.

3.Heard Mr.P.M.Vishnuvarthanan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Karthick, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4.According to the petitioner, the petition mentioned property was purchased by the petitioner in the year 1987 through a registered document and therefore, the petitioner is the absolute owner of the property in Survey Nos.850/2, 945/2 and 944/1 in Wathrap Village, Srivilliputur Taluk, Virudhunagar District, measuring to an extent of 1.52 acers. In respect of S.No.850/2, the 1/3

petitioner has obtained patta. In order to get patta in S.Nos.945/2 and 944/1, the petitioner has made several representations to the authorities. So far no action has been taken. Therefore, the petitioner has filed his application through online in application No.2020/0103/26/094773 dated 27.08.2020. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner is before this Court.

5.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's application dated 27.08.2020 will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed in accordance with law, within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

6.Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 27.08.2020 and to pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, after providing due opportunity to the petitioner as well as the interested parties, if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
