Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus or any other order or direction in the nature of the Writ, directing the Respondents 1 and 2 to take appropriate action on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner dated 29.11.2016.

ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to take appropriate action on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner dated 29.11.2016. 2.Ms.R.Anbumathi, Sub Inspector of Police,Alangudi All Women Police Station, Pudukottai District is present. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

4.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that on the application made by the Investigating Officer, the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thirumayam, has recorded statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. of the petitioner/victim. A copy of the statement was submitted before this Court for perusal. 5.On a perusal of the same, this Court found that the petitioner has made certain allegations, which requires thorough investigation. Beyond this, this Court cannot divulge the issues, as the investigation is at a very nascent stage. 6.This Court is satisfied with the manner in which, the investigation is in progress. Under such circumstances, the writ petition is closed with a direction to the Deputy Superintendent of police, Alangudi Sub Division to monitor the investigation, that is being conducted by the Inspector of Police, Alangudi Police Station in Crime No.12/2016.
