Respondents PRAYER: Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records connected with the detention order passed in H.S(M)Confdl.No.85 of 2021 dated 05.07.2021 on the file of the 2nd respondent and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu or body of the Detenu/the petitioner's son, namely, Kaliyappan @ Kadaikali, son of Velsamy Thevar, aged about 25 years, now detained at Central Prison, Palayamkottai, before this Court and set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.] Today when the matter was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that as per G.O.Rt.No.3683, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XII) Department, dated 16.08.2021, the detention order has been revoked.

2. In view of the same, nothing survives in this Habeas Corpus Petition and therefore this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
