: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and protection for cultural event namely Adalpadal scheduled to be held on 11.06.2017 and 13.06.2017 at night in connection with ''Vaikasi Festival'' at Arulmigu Sri Muthumariamman Temple at Neivathali Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.05.2017.

*********** [Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] The petitioner seeks for issuance of a direction to the respondents to grant permission to conduct cultural programme on 11.06.2017 and 13.06.2017 at night in connection with a temple festival and to the said effect, he has submitted a representation to the second respondent on 24.05.2017. Since the representation has not been considered, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. Considering the fact that the representation is still pending with the second respondent, this Court is not inclined to give any positive direction in this Writ Petition, but, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dated 24.05.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two days from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

3.With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
