Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to make inspection of the cable TV connection belonging to the petitioner under the name and style of KEERTHANA CABLE VISIONS, registration No.CTL-587-T7 HO situated at 18/34, 1st Street, 3rd Mile, Pudukudi, Thoothukudi, Thoothukudi District and consequently to restore the cable TV net work connection of the petitioner Cable TV network based on the petitioner's representation dated 10.09.2016. O R D E R
This Writ Petition is filed seeking for direction to respondents to make inspection of the cable TV connection belonging to the petitioner under the name and style of KEERTHANA CABLE VISIONS, registration No.CTL-587-T7 HO situated at 18/34, 1st Street, 3rd Mile, Pudukudi, Thoothukudi, Thoothukudi District and consequently to restore the cable TV net work connection of the petitioner Cable TV network based on the petitioner's representation, dated 10.09.2016.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

Mr.A.R.Kannappan, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is having 109 subscribers, but the respondents are demanding the petitioner to pay for 169 subscribers and hence, he was not able to pay the amount and he was making representations to the respondents in this regard. 4.Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned counsel appearing for the respondents on instructions would submit that the petitioner has to pay Rs.23,649/- towards six months arrears and he has to furnish subscribers list to the second respondent. He further submitted that on payment of the arrears and production of the subscribers list, the second respondent is ready to consider the representation of the petitioner.

In view of the above submission, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to pay the arrears amount and submit the subscribers list to the second respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such compliance, the second respondent shall restore the cable TV net work connection of the petitioner, based on the petitioner's representation forthwith. No Costs.
