: Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of of Mandamus directing the respondents to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner's building situating at Door No.4/170-B in Rajapalayam Taluk, Virudhunagar District by considering petitioner's representation dated 27.05.2017 within a time stipulated by this Court.

The writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner's building situated at Door No.4/170-B in Rajapalayam Taluk, Virudhunagar District, by considering his representation, dated 27.05.2017.

2. Heard Mr.L.M.Vijai Boominathan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Today, Mr.Madhana Gopal, Special Sub-Inspector of Police, Seithur Police Station, Virudhunagar District is present.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader has produced the photographs of the building owned by the petitioner, in which a TASMAC shop is said to be running and that there is no serious disturbance to the said shop as of now from anyone.

5. Recording the same, this writ petition is closed. However, as and when there is any disturbance to the petitioner from antisocial elements, the petitioner is given liberty to approach the police for necessary police protection. No costs.
