The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to release the Ashok Leyland Dost bearing registration No.TN-59-CD-0094 seized by the second respondent on 23.09.2020 to the petitioner.

2. Today, when the writ petition was taken up for hearing, Mr.T.Lenin Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition. He has also sent an e-mail to that effect to the email address mentioned in the cause list.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and in view of the email sent, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
