Heard Mr.V.P.Rajan, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent.

2.The petitioner seeks for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to conduct a survey and issue a report based on the petitioner's application, dated 26.02.2025. The petitioner has been issued patta No.6498 and based on the same, the petitioner has made a survey application.

3.There can be no impediment for the authorities to dispose of the petitioner's survey application. Therefore, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent to conduct survey and pass final orders on the petitioner's application dated 26.02.2025 after issuing necessary notice to the adjoining land owners, by conducting survey and also forwarding a survey report to the petitioner. The entire exercise shall be carried out 2/4

within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
