ORDER
This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission, after dispensing with the notice to the respondents 2 and 4.
2. This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the respondents to allow the petitioner to run Cable TV operation under License No.TN/2025/448609844.
3. Ms.J.R.Annie Abinaya, learned Additional Standing Counsel, takes notice for the respondents 1 and 3.

4. The petitioner has been issued with a Cable TV licence by Official respondents on 01.02.2025 for a period of five years. The complaint of the petitioner is that the Official respondents have also issued the similar licence to the private respondents also, as a result of which, the petitioner has not able to carry on the cable TV operations.
5. The copy of the agreement signed between the petitioner and the respondents, which has been filed, indicates that the licence and the agreement have been issued/signed on non-exclusive basis. Thus, the Official respondents are also entitled to issue similar licence to others on non-exclusive basis. Therefore, there is no merits in the present Writ Petition.
6. Therefore, this Writ Petition is liable to be dismissed. It is, accordingly, dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Index : Yes / No 02.06.2025 Internet : Yes / No apd 3/4
