Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to take action against the respondents 5 and 6 for their illegal act of excommunication of the petitioner from the village, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 25.05.2017 and pass such further or other orders as this Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

ORDER

Mr.Rajendran, Special Sub Inspector of Police, deputed for Manamelkudi Police Station, Pudukottai, is present. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the issue with regard to the alleged excommunication of the petitioner by the villagers have been referred to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Aranthangi, for conducting of Peace Committee Meeting. Recording the same, this petition is closed with a direction to the Revenue authorities to expeditiously conduct the Peace Committee Meeting, not later than 28.06.2017, and take action in accordance with law. The police authorities shall implement the orders of the Revenue authorities. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
