ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction second respondent to provide police protection. 2.According to the petitioner, he is the tenant and there was a dispute between him and his land-lord. Hence, he lodged a complaint on 15.04.2024 before the second respondent that the private respondents herein are continuously threatening him. The said complaint has not been considered by the official respondents and therefore, the petitioner filed the present petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the official respondents submits that the petitioner had already lodged similar complaints, which were treated as CSR.Nos.753 of 2023 and 1347 of 2023 and the same were also closed on 02.06.2023 and 12.10.2023 respectively. The petitioner has now lodged similar complaint by way of post on 15.04.2024, based on which, the second respondent Police issued summon to the petitioner. However, the 2/5

petitioner has not turned-up for the enquiry. Further, he submits that the petitioner, without co-operating for the enquiry, by simply forwarding the complaint through post, has filed this petition seeking police protection. Accordingly, he prays to dismiss the present petition. 4.This Court considered the rival submissions made on either side. 5.Admittedly, there is a dispute between the tenant and the landlord. In the event, if the petitioner has any grievance as against the private respondents, he has to workout his remedy before the appropriate forum. This Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is closed.
