2.Crime Nos.2012 and 2013 of 2020 registered on the file of Avaniyapuram Police Station are case and counter case. It appears to be a dispute between neighbours. The learned counsel on either side report that the matter has been amicably settled. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent police states that the parties are very much present in the office of the Public Prosecutor and that the matters can be given a quietus. Since the parties themselves have agreed to bury the hatchet, no purpose will be served in keeping the First Information Reports' alive. Therefore, both the First Information Reports stand quashed.
4. These Criminal Original Petitions are allowed.
