RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to extend the time for executing the sureties before the Learned Judicial Magistrate Srirangam Trichy in CRL.O.P.(MD) No.8555 of 2021 dated 30/06/2021.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.M.SIDDHARTHAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.P.KOTTAI CHAMY, Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- The petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.8555 of 2021 dated 30.06.2021, for producing the sureties and for executing the bail bond. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by this Court on 30.06.2021. Since he was unable to arrange sureties, they could not comply with the conditions. Hence, he prays to grant further time to execute the sureties.

3.Heard the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

4.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation, this petition is allowed and the time for producing the sureties is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
