O R D E R

This petition has been filed, seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members based on the representation dated 16.05.2017.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner against Meiyappan, a petition enquiry in CSR No.43 of 2017 has been conducted and the same was closed, as both the parties have approached the Revenue authorities for measurement of the lands.

3. Under such circumstances, this petition is closed with further direction to the respondent police to ensure that no physical harm befalls the petitioner. This order cannot be construed as giving Police protection to the property in dispute. No costs.
