14.05.2022 on the file of the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu or body of the detenu ie., the petitioner's son namely P.Jegajothimani, aged about 42 years, S/o.Palsamy, now detained at the Central Prison, Madurai, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the detenu was facing trial in the ground case and found guilty and convicted to undergo life sentence.
2.In the light of the aforesaid submission, without adverting to the merits of the detention order, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed. (G.J.,J.)
