PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.343 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested on 03.05.2024 for the alleged offence under 1/3

Section 489(B) of IPC in Crime No.343 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner used a fake currency note in a provisional shop and based on the complaint lodged by the Village Administrative Officer, the respondent police arrested the petitioner and recovered fake currency notes of Rs.500/-, Rs.200/- and Rs.100/- to the extent of Rs.4,00,500/-, a xerox machine, ink and paper cutting machine.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submits that the petitioner is languishing in jail from 03.05.2024. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor strongly opposed to grant bail on the ground that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of Rs.4,00,500/- fake currency notes.

5.Considering that the nature of offence against the petitioner is very serious in nature, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 2/3
