O R D E R
*********** [Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.] The writ petitioner seeks a direction for conducting a special drive to fill up the backlog of vacancies reserved for SC/ST category.
2. It is alleged that the Tamilnadu Public Service Commission issued an advertisement for conducting Group-II Examination for 1953 posts, but the third respondent did not include all the backlog vacancies while proposing to fill up the posts and that is the reason why the writ petitioner prays that there must be a special drive conducted in this regard. A representation had already been given in this regard on 02.06.2017.
3. We direct the second respondent to pass appropriate order on the said representation dated 02.06.2017 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
