RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to extend the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.6243/2021 on 30.04.2021 for a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

Order :This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.JOTHIBASU.M, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.P.KOTTAI CHAMY, Government Advocate(Crl Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- The petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time for surrendering before the concerned Court and executing a bond as directed by this court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.6243 of 2021 dated 30.04.2021, while granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that due to Covid-19 pandemic situation, the petitioner is not able to surrender before the concerned Magistrate and execute a bond in time and hence, he seek for extension of time.

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

4. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation,

this petition is allowed and the time is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
