*********** [Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.] The writ petitioner seeks closure of TASMAC Shop No.11976 located at Uppathur - Sattur Road, Mulliseval Village, Sattur Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

2.The writ petitioner is not in a position to point out any statutory violation. However it is seen from the record that there is considerable local opposition. According to the writ https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner, the running of the said liquor outlet is causing nuisance to the general public. Even though, we do not grant any relief as sought for in the writ petition, liberty is given to the writ petitioner to move the District Collector for reconsideration of his decision on the ground that there is a creation of nuisance on account of running of the liquor outlet.

3.With this liberty, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
