ORDER

Heard Mr.M.Sankar, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.The petitioner, who is working as a Tapper has filed this Writ Petition challenging the impugned order Vide Na.Ka.No. 1707/2022, dated 26.03.2024, by which, she was not considered to the promotion to the post of Tapping Supervisor.

3.In the impugned order it has been stated that twice the petitioner has disinclined to accept the offer for promotion to the post of Tapping Supervisor and hence, those persons who have given their willingness have been considered for promotion.

4.It is the claim of the petitioner that she has submitted her willingness already on 21.03.2024. However, the same has not been considered.

5.The petition can participate in the selection process to the post of Tapping Supervisor, only if she has given a willingness letter. In the absence of her willingness, she could not participate in the selection test. After the selection test was completed, the petitioner had sent her willingness letter on 21.03.2024 and it was rejected stating that she has not submitted her willingness in time, ie., before the selection test was conducted by the Selection Committee. Since the petitioner has missed the bus and sent her willingness on an after thought, she has to wait until the next opportunity for promotion to the post of Tapping Supervisor arises.

6.With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
