Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to constitute Complaint Cells comprising of the Superintendent of Police, the District Social Welfare Officer and District Adi-Dravida Welfare Officer, to receive petitions/complaints of harassment and threat to couples of intercaste marriage in all districts in the State of Tamil Nadu in according to the direction of the Hon'ble Madras High Court in order dated 13.04.2016 in W.P.No.26991 of 2014, consequently to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to comply all directions issued by the Hon'ble High Court in order dated 13.04.2016 in W.P.No.26991 of 2014 before this Court within the time stipulated by this Court. ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to constitute Complaint Cells comprising of the Superintendent of Police, District Social Welfare Officer and District Adi-Dravida Welfare Officer, to receive petitions/complaints of harassment and threat to couples of inter-caste marriage in all districts in the State of Tamil Nadu, in pursuance of the order dated 13.04.2016 passed in W.P.No.26991 of 2014 by this Court, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.
2.Mr.M.Govindan, learned Special Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.
3.It is seen from the records that in W.P.No.26991 of 2014, similar reliefs have been sought and this Court by way of allowing the same has imposed nine directions. Since in W.P.No.26991 of 2014, necessary directions have been given by this Court, this writ petition is totally unwarranted and therefore the same is liable to be dismissed.
