Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to permit the petitioner to conduct Kabadi Tournament on 03.02.2017 and 04.02.2017 from 06.00 a.m. to 07.00 p.m. at Sivan Kovil Ground, Kallagam Village, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy Dist.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondent to grant permission for conducting Kabadi Tournament from 03.02.2017 to 04.02.2017 in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondent.

3.It is seen from the records that the petitioner has given a representation on 17.01.2017 to the respondent, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass following order.

4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the respondent viz., Inspector of Police, Kallakudi Police Station, Tiruchirappalli District is directed to look into the representation dated 17.01.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of three days.
