Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the obstructions caused by thorns and bushes in the pathway of 20 feet road in S.No.371/I, Mottamalai, Kalaignar Nagar, Vilacheri Panchayat and give pathway connectivity to the other parallel roads on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 22.05.2017.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.] The petitioner submitted a representation to the District Collector, Madurai District, on 22.05.2017, requesting to take appropriate action for giving connectivity to the public road commencing from Kalaignar Nagar to Vilacheri main road. Since follow up action was not taken, the petitioner is before this Court.

2.We direct the first respondent to consider and dispose of the representation dated 22.05.2017, on merits as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
