Today (i.e.24.07.2018) when the matter was called, the learned counsel for the second respondent submitted that if the petitioner makes an online application, the same will be considered favorably by the second respondent herein.

2. In the light of the submission made by the learned counsel for the second respondent , the petitioner is granted liberty to make a fresh online application under the Scheme "Vidya Lakshmi Portal" seeking to grant educational loan to his daughter Malathi. On receipt of such valid application, the second respondent shall consider the same positively and disburse the educational loan within a period of four weeks therefrom.

3.With the above direction, the writ petition is allowed. No costs.
