O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.) The petitioner has filed this writ petition forbearing the respondents from opening the TASMAC IMFL Retail Outlet in his village at door No.25/72 A2, New No.25/149A, Chottayakkaduparambu, S.No.816/17, Pacode Village, Thikkurichi, Vilavancode Taluk, Kanyakumari District.

2.The learned Standing Counsel for TASMAC produced a copy of the letter, dated 06.08.2017, whereby and whereunder, the District Manager, TASMAC, Nagercoil informed that the proposal to locate the TASMAC shop No.4826 at building No.25/149A (Resurvey No.816/17), Pacode Village, Thikkurichi, Vilavancode Taluk, Kanyakumari District has been dropped.

3.In view of the subsequent event regarding the action taken by the TASMAC to drop the proposal, nothing survives for adjudication.

4.The writ petition is disposed of with the above observation. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
