This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 20.04.2017 and rectify the pay anomaly.

2. Heard, Mr.D.Soundar Raj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and Mr.K.Sathiya Singh, learned Standing Counsel for T.N.S.T.C., appearing for the respondents 2 and 3.

3. Mr.N.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the first respondent and Mr.K.Sathiya Singh, learned Standing Counsel for T.N.S.T.C., takes notice for the respondents 2 and 3. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:- "The respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.04.2017, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
