PRAYER :-For Bail in Crime No.336 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Sole Accused, who was arrested on 15.06.2022 for the alleged offences under Sections 4(1-A) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, in Crime No.336 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 750 ml Imperial Blue Wisky bottle and 150 ml alcohol. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and she has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 15.06.2022. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

4. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that no previous case is pending against this petitioner and also would submit that the major part of the investigating has been completed.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, most of the investigation might have been over, the petitioner is not having any bad antecedents and considering the period of incarceration, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail, on executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Tirunelveli, Tirunelveli District, and on further condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.
