ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings of Charge sheet in C.C.No.243 of 2017, pending before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram, in Crime No.37 of 2016, dated 13.12.2016 on the file of the first respondent for the offences under Sections 498(A), 294(b) and 506 (ii) of I.P.C., as against the petitioners.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that based on a complaint lodged by the second respondent, the first respondent has completed investigation and filed final report and the same has been taken cognizance in C.C. No. 243 of 2017 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram. He further submitted that https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the trial Court has commenced the trial and examined witnesses P.W.1 & P.W.2.
3. In view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned Government Advocate (crl. Side) the prayer sought for by the petitioners cannot be granted now. However, the trial Court is directed to complete the trial, within a period of Six months, from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. The personal appearance of the petitioners before the trial Court is dispensed with, except the dates on which, the trial Judge insisted the petitioners for their appearance.
